Improvements to Moe Ali
Since I started blogging when I was 16 there were many things that I was concerned with, and obviously the address of my blog was an issue. At the time I could not purchase a domain and run my blog independently, so I wrote and published my posts on various websites. When I turned 18 and got myself a checking account, the story was different. But then choosing a really good address became my main issue.
I faced this problem until recently when I just decided to unify all of my writings whether in English or in Persian under one domain. That domain is of course www.moeali.com
You can find my writings in Persian in the sub-domain of moeali at www.persian.moeali.com
I also changed the templates of both blogs, taking the unification of my blogs an step further. So as of now both of my blogs share the exact same templates and I will continue to write under this domain for my personal posts.
You can access my Accounting weblog which is my formal and official blog at www.aghanori.com
I have to do a lot of work in that blog, particularly publishing more articles. But for now it's pretty decent.
My blogging experience and skills helped me get a job too. Isn't that awesome? I mean you don't know how excited I am. I was hired by my college to write as a student and being part of the student blogging project. If you are interested, then check out my school blog which is called "Its & Bits of QC" at www.ibqc.qwriting.org
Thank you for your support, and make sure you leave comments.

My Problem
Saturday, November 28, 2009
I know what my problem is. I mean I just realized what it is.
The problem is not poverty, rather it is cash flow.
More money is going out, than it’s coming in and, that more or less is the problem I’m currently facing.
That’s the problem and that’s the bad news. The good news is that I’m not alone and 2/3 of Americans are facing the very same issure. Looking at this situation as a cash flow problem will help one to feel relieved, well at least temporarily.
Running Windows 7 (Home Premium)
Saturday, October 31, 2009
It has been a while since my last blog post, and I think I owe my very few audience a big apology for my absence. In this post I’d like to talk about my not so long experience of Windows 7.
First I must say that I really like the newest version of Microsoft Windows, meaning Windows 7. It is as fast or even faster than Windows XP but it is as good or even better than Windows Vista in terms of features, convenience, user-friendliness, eco-friendliness, and the security of the windows.
Microsoft once again proves to be the best and Apple will have to remain silent and in fact reduce its share of personal computer sales. I never forget how disappointed I was with slowness and the inconvenience of Windows Vista, but I take Windows 7 as a good make up for its previous Windows.
I really can’t tell you how good Windows 7 is, the only thing I can tell you is to try it out for yourself and if you are not a biased and unfair person you will most definitely find Windows 7 the best operating system out there.
Currently Microsoft is offering Windows 7 for college students for only $30 which is extraordinarily good and a rare opportunity.
So go ahead and do yourself a favor, save yourself from paying so much for Mac and not getting the best out of your every penny. Do it for yourself and be a PC, and it’s only then when you can seriously see why I insist so much on being a PC.
Facebook: The 21st Century Phenomenon
Monday, October 12, 2009
All that you could do was to change your status from the preset statuses (e.g. I'm at the library, at work and etc.), write on friends' wall, send messages, poke them, see their pictures and pretty much that was it. Facebook was simple, neat and fast. Did I mention that you had to have a valid college e-mail address to join? Yeah, my mother and grand father weren't able to join. So it was really unique. In reality facebook has tremendously transformed since its start in February 2004 till now. When you look at it closely, you can see that not only many of its previous features are no longer available, and not only a whole new level of features were added, but one can really conclude that facebook's mission and goal generally changed.
Facebook at its starting point was only a social networking website for college students, meaning that you could actually join college networks (which you still can do) and then also in your information section of your profile you could show what classes you're taking. That feature for instance is no longer being provided, and I personally loved that feature because I was able to connect to my classmates very easier since all I had to do was to join Math122 for Fall 06 and then I'd see a list of all other students in my school who are taking the same class. As you can see facebook was intended for something else. It's no longer what it was and it completely transformed into a social networking website competing with Myspace and others.
